Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers was founded by Jean Nidetch and has helped millions of people lose weight for over 40 years. The original Weight Watchers program consisted of going to local weekly member meetings with weigh-ins and group discussions. Today, you still have the option of one on one support at weekly meetings, or you can join the Weight Watchers Online program.
Weight Watchers diet plan is the most widely known and most popular weight loss method. Their programs have improved greatly throughout the years.
Today, the program is called the Weight Watchers Momentum plan. This combines features from the previous Flex Plan and Core Plan.

Weight Watchers Details
The new Weight Watchers Momentum program is easy to follow and combines the best aspects from the Flex and Core Plans. You will be using the “Points® Food System” from the Flex plan, while using the strategies of the Core plan, which emphasis eating filling, healthy foods.
Momentum Plan
With the Weight Watchers Momentum Plan, you can eat any food you want. No foods are off limits. You will learn how to eat smarter and make better food choices. You will learn about the filling foods to eat to keep you fuller longer and able to resist temptations. Managing hunger is a big part of the Momentum program.
Every food has a points value. The points are assigned to a food by calculating the calories, fat and fiber. Healthier foods will have lower point values than unhealthier options. You do not need to calculate a foods’ points yourself. There are thousands of foods already assigned points values, and there are also online points calculators.
Your daily points target is calculated for you and is based on your height, weight, gender, activity level, and other factors. Depending on each individual, the daily points allowance will range from 18-37 points. So, whatever your daily points target is, you cannot go over that number.
You will also get a weekly point allowance which can be used for a special treat.
You need to count and keep track of points for every food you eat.
